Dear Partners,
Through your gifts you and I together are loving people to life.
2019 is slipping away very quickly and at the time of this recording the retreat is just a few days away. The attendance will be one of the largest we have had for a long time and we are on tip toe of excitement as we wait to see what He will do in the lives of all who attend. We will have a full report in our next partner message.
It has been a challenging year for me personally, but I report that the grace of God has been “much more abundant” in every way. My message this month is spoken out of my experience of His grace; it is true that as we wait and are entwined together with the Lord we mount up with wings and run without depleting our strength. I trust that the verses I use will be used by the Spirit to bring you to the fullness of the strength that is yours in Christ.
As I am sure you have discovered by now we have a fifty percent off sale on our CD’s and that will continue. I want as many persons as possible to have an opportunity to hear this message of the love and grace of God. With the Christmas season upon us you might find the sale a great help in buying gifts! We will be introducing many new options and formats for the recorded messages as the new year unfolds but the details will wait until we have everything in place.
I will be travelling in the new year and maybe will be in your area. If you live in the Houston, Texas area I will be speaking in Houston at the end of January. It will be a conference and so there will be three other speakers that I share the weekend with but I am booked to speak at the Sunday morning service. I will give you further details next month. We also will be in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and back in St. Petersburgh, Florida for a retreat in a new and beautiful hotel on the beach. There are discussions regarding further meetings including the possibility of bringing Module 1 of the Bible school to other places around the country. Please do not call the office as we have no details as yet – you will be the first to know if it works out.

We have purchased and just now received new recording equipment so we will not have the problem that we had last month. You have a recorded message this month and months to come!
My message looks at the prayer and blessing that John gave to one of his dear friends – it is the blessing that I give to you as we come into the holiday season of the year. It is a radical prayer-blessing that offends many Christians! It offends because it addresses our physical-material lives and links our daily challenges, opportunities and trials to our life in the Spirit. Multitudes in the western world have a false image of God who is “spiritual” and disinterested in the simple joys and daily challenges of our human lives. But the God we worship has revealed Himself in becoming one of us and living the image of God in those simple joys and desires of the human. It means when we pray in the Name of Jesus we ask and expect His joyful blessing upon every detail and desire of our human lives. For many this will be a message of freedom in the grace of God that the earliest believers walked in.
I must remind you of the annual retreat – the first weekend of December – at the Inn of the Hills in Kerrville TX. The subject is Radical Transforming Grace. I hear hundreds talking, preaching about the grace of God but what they say lacks insight into the radical revolutionary nature of His grace. Grace means that He is in us in the fullness of His love, care and strength that in each moment makes us whole in the totality of our lives and plunges us into a new possible – a life lived in the fellowship of the Trinity!
The overwhelming revelation and life changing insights that we have just enjoyed at the Bible school a few days ago make us excited to see how He will be working in your life at the retreat. Forgive me for the late partner message this month – the holiday weekend threw everything off schedule. My message is about investigating the wonder of the joy of the I AM being our strength. It means that as we go through our daily life with all its challenges, opportunities as well as threats and trials His joy fills us, surrounds us and carries us forward! How quickly the year is passing! Already the grass here in Texas is turning brown and the freshness of spring is turning toward the fall! But our God is always now-is, His Name is I AM and fills every present moment with His unchanging fullness. This is the subject of my message this month – the real meaning of “forever” is that He is with us today in unchanging fullness. This radically changes how we look at life’s happenings and challenges. Learn to live in the immediate presence of God communicating Himself to you. I trust that this message will bless you and call you even further in to the reality of Christ your life.

Dear Partners,

My message this month is a testimony of how God’s grace was revealed in my life in these last weeks. I am not merely reporting as a history of what has happened to me, but rooting it in Scripture that we might all know the grace that is ours wherever we are. Enough to say here that His love that is ours by sheer gift is vaster, deeper and greater than I had ever imagined. I do not say that lightly, but out of the experience of having tasted and felt the goodness, kindness, gentle tenderness and compassion of God in my experience of life in this present set of circumstances. It is in this love experienced that we receive the unbounded grace and strength to go through whatever we are presently facing.
I will be in Alvin, Texas – in the Houston area – August 4th this year…just a few days from now. I will speaking at the 10 a.m. service and the 6 p.m. service and it will be two different messages that link together as one whole. Thank you for the outpouring of your love in your letters cards and gifts to help at this time of many expenses. I had planned to respond to each one of you but more and more kept coming and I think it would take many weeks to answer each one individually as I intended, but let me say to all of you THANK YOU! I have felt the arms of your prayers and blessings surrounding and upholding me through these weeks.
My message this week turns our attention to the Holy Spirit as the One who is communicating the love of the Father and of the ascended Jesus into our inner most heart. It is tragic that so many in the church are afraid of the Spirit who is the One who enlightens, enables, upholds and is the true presence of the living Jesus within us. The New Testament describes His power as the power of God-love that embraces and communicates into us that love in all His facets and dimensions. I am sharing this because in these last weeks I have come to know the love of the Spirit and His enabling strength as I have never known Him before. The same Spirit and the same experience I have known since I was a young teenager but at a level of knowing that is almost too sacred to talk about. I trust that my message will communicate some of what I have come to know at this time.
By the time you get this I will be in St. Petersburgh, Florida for our retreat. It promises to be a unique and set up for the Holy Spirit to do His work in and with each one who will be there.
Our next event is October 11-12 when we will be having Module 1 that was cancelled due to Nancy’s passing. We will be having it in Boerne, just down the road from our ranch as the hotels in San Antonio are becoming very expensive. As I am sure most of you have heard, my wife Nancy passed into the presence of the Lord on Resurrection Sunday morning. At the time of preparing this partner letter and message I am unable to express my feelings – I am still in shock and feeling the vast emptiness of life going on without her. She was not only my wife but best friend and co-laborer together in this ministry, living unconditional love as she watched over all of the running and planning of the ministry day by day. She was a vital part of every retreat, bringing her unusual healing gifts of the Spirit to many thousands over the years. Many of you received her words and prayers in such retreats and through face book where she met and ministered to so many of you. But she is with Christ and we say with Paul – far better. Although her “far better” has not yet translated into our joy – we are left with tears, emptiness and facing life and ministry without her. This last week has been an outpouring of love from all of you – those close by and those far away – I have felt the strengthening impact of your love. Thank you for your prayers, phone calls, cards and gifts for the funeral expenses; you have eased the burden, I have felt your embrace and you have undergirded me at this time.

I have revisited a text that has blessed us in the past for this month’s message, the fact that we are His workmanship. The fascinating truth is that He is the artist, the maker, the one who fashions and sculpts our lives. He makes us according to the pattern who is Jesus. I believe that this message will activate desires of the Spirit in you to live to the fullest as Christ in this world.
April is a very full month for me and for all the staff who are involved in making everything happen! We are having two Bible schools at the beginning and end of the month. The first is the graduation of the present series of modules. We will have been together for 120 hours and a massive amount of truth has been exchanged. Lives have been brought into line with the truth of the love of God in Christ. Congratulations to every graduate!
The new cycle of modules starts April 26-27, 2019 – and this first module is more self-contained, laying down what the whole course is leading to union with the Trinity.
It is titled “Union with the Triune God”; it is the essence of the message that you support each month – the love of God being fulfilled in Christ living in us through the Spirit.
