Partners

A Simple Way to Stay Connected and Sustain the Ministry

Partnership is about relationship, commitment, and shared mission.

A Partner is someone who has chosen to walk with this ministry on an ongoing basis and help sustain the work in a way that is appropriate to their means.

That support can look different for different people, and that’s intentional.

family-holding-hands-and-prayer-in-home-for-love-2026-01-09-09-20-12-utc

What Partnership Is

  • An intentional commitment to support the ministry over time
  • A relationship built on trust, prayer, and shared purpose
  • A way to stay informed about where the ministry is headed
  • An opportunity to ask questions, give input, and stay connected

Partners are the people who make it possible for this work to continue faithfully and sustainably.

What Partnership Is Not

  • It is not a giving tier or membership level
  • It is not defined by finances
  • It is not limited to online participation
  • It is not about comparison or qualification

Partnership is not something you earn by hitting a number. It is something you choose.

How Partners Support the Ministry

Partners support the ministry in many ways:

  • Financial support
  • Prayer and encouragement
  • Advocacy and sharing the teaching with others
  • Long-term faithfulness and relationship

Every Partner’s situation is different, and every form of faithful support matters.

November/December 2022 – Partner Update

Through your gifts you and I together are loving people to life.

Hello Partners!

We have just returned from Grand Rapids, Michigan where we were abundantly blessed in ministering this message of grace and the unconditional love of God to the people there. It was a small group, but we were able to watch the Spirit put the message deep into their hearts.
This is what your monthly support does! It enables us to go and teach – it is the way in which you and I are one together in taking this message to all people. When you buy a book or recording it is for your benefit, but when you give it is for other people’s benefit – they receive my word that comes to them through your giving! Thank you for being part of this wonderful ministry of love!

As I write this, we are now in the last stages of prepping for the retreat when we will meet many of you, and you will be part of the celebration of my 70 years in this ministry. If you will not be with us I ask you to pray, see with the eyes of the Spirit the eyes of many being opened and all of us strengthened in this great good news. My message to you is from my preparations and meditation on this subject and is a preview of what I will be speaking about at the retreat.

Update: the December retreat has just concluded, and the recorded series ‘Living Now in the Rest of God’ is now available on CD or MP3 Download. Visit malcolmsmith.org or call our office to order your copy. 830-460-4000

January 20-21, 2023 I will be doing a conference with Don Keathley and Steve McVey, two men that I have known and fellowshipped with over the years. It is an online (Zoom only) conference, no one coming physically, and will be all day Friday and finishing Saturday afternoon. We are calling it The Journey, and we will be discussing our unique experiences in how we came to know this message of God’s love and grace that we share with all of you. It would be good to have you there, and I am including the way in which you can register. The conference is $99, and you can find more information and an online registration link at: https://unconditionallovefellowship.com/journey/

We are planning another Bible school module for Spring 2023, which will be Module 6. And I will be starting a new set of Modules with Module 1 as well. Dates will be announced in the coming weeks. And we have had many new students enrolling into the online modules, which you can find out more about at: https://unconditionallovefellowship.com/about/msbi/ if you are interested in beginning the Bible school online.

Remember, we also meet every Sunday at 11am CST in Bandera and many join us by Zoom – if you’d like to join our Sunday church services in Zoom, just email us at malcolmsmith.org@gmail.com to let us know you’re interested, and we’ll send you a link each week so you can join us in Zoom.

Thank you for your continued support through these past months. Your giving is not merely giving dollars to support an organization. You and I together are co-workers with the Father, Son, and Spirit in bringing to pass the love dream of the Trinity! Every dollar that you send is the love of God clothed in finances and wrapped in prayer – the gift of your life joined to the Holy Spirit and sent forth to the world. You and I, along with every other partner, do more together than either of us could do alone in our wildest dreams. In your monthly giving, you are part of my voice carrying God’s love in Christ in the power of the Spirit to the world.

You are blessed in Christ Jesus,
Malcolm and Cheryl

September 2022 – Partner Update

Through your gifts you and I together are loving people to life.

Hello partners,

This has been a challenging month for all of us here at the ministry. I had surgery to replace my knee in mid- August and of course prior to that days were spent in pre-operative tests – hours in doctor’s office and hospital. The surgery went very well, and the knee is healing beautifully. But that comes with a price! Hours of physical therapy leaving me with pain – but healing pain!

All good intentions of getting a partner message out in the days following surgery came to nothing.

But in the office the passing of Cindy placed a backlog of calls and orders that we are just now catching up with. John was coming to Bandera and filling all the orders that Cindy usually handled in our office. Even if I had been available John would not have been able to produce this message and send it to you. We decided not to be stressed and let the days take their course.

We now have a new person working in the office, Gail Riley. She is one of the deaconesses in our Fellowship, has attended many Bible schools and so is well equipped to answer questions and pray with you. At this present time she is training and so please know, if you call the office you may have to leave a message and we will call you back.

We are about to have a second session of Module five of the Bible school here at the ranch and on zoom. It is a vital module covering the sufferings, death, and resurrection of Jesus. We ask the question “What was happening and what is He doing?” A life changing weekend.

In early November Cheryl and I will be going to Grand Rapids, Michigan for a weekend of meetings – I will be sharing the weekend with Don Keithley a long-time friend and one who preaches the love and grace of God.

We then move directly to the retreat, the first weekend of December. The subject will be an in depth investigation of how we live in the rest of God – a vital subject in these days!

This is my 70th year in the ministry and Saturday night of the retreat Cheryl has planned an exciting celebration of that for all.

The December retreat has already reached our planned capacity of 100 people, so we have started a waiting list for those who want to attend but are not registered. You can contact Judy at 830-328-3770 to get on the waiting list for the retreat and if a spot opens up, we will contact you.

One last item, we have had two Post office boxes for a number of years and we have come to the point of only needing one of them. From now on we will have only one, Post Office Box 1599, Bandera, Texas 78003 is the only address for receiving your letters and gifts. The one that have had that some of you used P.O. Box 3250 is now closed.

We pray that you will be blessed by my message on the Holy Spirit – the key to this New Covenant life!

Love In Christ,
Malcolm and Cheryl

July 2022 – Partner Update

Through your gifts you and I together are loving people to life.

Hello partners,

This partner message is going out a little late because Cindy Kimbrell unexpectedly passed through the veil to be with Christ which is far better. On July 12, she did not come into work which was very unusual. If she was going to be late or absent, she would always call me. Cheryl went to her house and called Randy to join her there. After they failed to have her answer the door, Cheryl called the wellness police, and they came and made entry into the house. She had collapsed on the floor of the shower holding a towel looking very peaceful. She died of a brain aneurism. She is greatly missed and will be missed by many of you who spoke to her often on the phone when you called the ministry, met her at bible schools and retreats at the product table.

I will be having a knee replacement surgery in August having which will be followed by weeks of therapy. I do not know how long it will take before I am back and able to walk. Any schedule that involves travel is unsure at this time. The tentative dates for travel are on the accompanying audio message – by my next message to you, I will be able to be more specific.

Having said that, we will be having the Bible School Module 5 in September (23-24th) and October (7-8th) and the retreat the first weekend of December. If you plan on coming, please secure your place immediately – both events are rapidly filling up. The Bible school Module is dealing with the finished work of Christ. We conduct the Bible school modules in Bandera and stream them live by Zoom, which has enabled us offer them to nearly 200 students covering the world. We are also building an online course as we record each new session, so students can always go back review the content. Modules 1-4 are already available online. If you are interested in the Bible School you may contact Judy for more information – text or call her at (830) 328-3770 – or visit the MSBI information page on our website for more on the Bible school modules.

The annual retreat the first weekend of December is at a new location in San Antonio, Texas this year and our subject will be the life of rest that we have in Christ. Many speak of it but few live it and we look forward to spending the weekend discovering this truth along with fellowship together. Full details can be found below, or on our website at www.unconditionallovefellowship.com/2022retreat/. Cheryl and I look forward to meeting all of you – old friends and new – hearing your story and praying with you.  This year’s retreat will include a special celebration for my 70th year in ministry. You don’t want to miss it!

June 2022 – Partner Update

Through your gifts you and I together are loving people to life.

Hello Partners!

Finally we have a partner message for you; it is the first of one each month from now on.

You will find that this is different to partner messages before Covid. Cheryl and I were married a little over a year ago and we share this message together daily. She has her own ministry going into women’s jails with this message of unconditional love. Every morning we sit with our coffee on our sun porch and share – I share my latest message in preparation and she gives her insights. We have decided to invite you to join us on the porch and join the conversation. Here it is and we pray it will be a blessing to you even as it is to us every day.

We want you to know our future plans so that if possible we can meet together have fellowship and share the Word of God. By the time you get this we will have been in Myrtle Beach (June 10-12) for a long weekend of meetings with the church there. When we return we will be in full preparation for Module 5 of the Bible school, where we delve into the meaning of the sufferings, death and resurrection of Jesus. This is the module that we have been moving toward since the beginning of the course. If you have completed Module 4 already, make sure you are registered for this all important weekend.

December 2021 – Partner Update

Dear Partners,

Through your gifts you and I together are loving people to life.

I am beginning with a great thank you and praise to God for all of you who have continued to send your gifts and letters of encouragement through this long time of the pandemic when there has been little communication from us to you. Your continued giving without a monthly prod to do so thrills me – you give by the Spirit’s urging and not by my stoking your emotional fires!

These days where we could not meet brought about a new dimension of ministry that I believe is here to stay – meeting by Zoom. We enjoy Bible schools by Zoom that have caused them to increase from 60 or 70 students to nearly 200 covering the world. If you are interested in the Bible School you may contact Judy for more information. You can text or call her at (830) 328-3770.

We also meet every Sunday and many join us by Zoom – if you’d like to join our Sunday church services in Zoom, just email us at malcolmsmith.org@gmail.com to let us know you’re interested. I also have had the joy of coming into living rooms via Zoom and spending evenings sharing and answering questions.

As most of you know I was married to Cheryl back in February, and these last months have been consumed with getting ready for our annual December Retreat! This was Cheryl’s first, and was truly a blessing for all who attended! The series from the retreat, PRAYER: The Door to the Father’s Intention; will soon be available in CD or MP3 format. You may order on line at www.malcolmsmith.org or by calling Cindy in our office at (830) 460-4000.

My message arises this month from John 2:1-11. It speaks to us about the wedding supper where Jesus turns the water into wine. And even though I have spoken on this subject before it is always a fresh and timely message.

Again I celebrate you as you have given so consistently through these last months – your gifts enable us to penetrate the darkness with the light of the unconditional love of God.

You are blessed in Christ Jesus,
Malcolm and Cheryl

July 2021 – Partner Update

Dear Partners,

Through your gifts you and I together are loving people to life.

I am beginning with a great thank you and praise to God for all of you who have continued to send your gifts and letters of encouragement through this long winter of the pandemic when there has been little communication from us to you. Your continued giving without a monthly prod to do so thrills me – you give by the Spirit’s urging and not by my stoking your emotional fires!

As most of you know I was married to Cheryl back in February, and these last months have been consumed with moving the contents of her house to Bandera and then selling her house in Houston. That will soon be over as we close in a few days.

These days where we could not meet brought about a new dimension of ministry that I believe is here to stay – meeting by Zoom. We enjoy Bible schools by Zoom that have caused them to increase from 60 or 70 students to nearly 200 covering the world. We will have Module 3 in September 17-18th, and a repeat in October 15-16th, 2021 and all who have taken Modules 1 and 2 should sign up for this one that covers all the covenants of the Old Testament by registering with Judy (830) 328-3770.

We also meet every Sunday and many join us by Zoom – if you’d like to join our Sunday church services in Zoom, just email us at malcolmsmith.org@gmail.com to let us know you’re interested. I also have had the joy of coming into living rooms via Zoom and spending an evening sharing and answering questions… I have had home Bible studies sitting in Bandera ministering in a home 1,000 miles away! I even had a meeting in a church on the East coast without leaving my house.

But times are changing – at least in Texas – and we [Cheryl will be with me] will be speaking in Alvin, Texas on September 26th, both morning and evening services. I will have the exact location and times for you in my message next month.
We are excited that the first weekend of December we will have our annual retreat that we had to cancel last year. PRAYER: The Door to the Father’s Intention – Friday, December 3 – Sunday, December 5, 2021 in Kerrville, Texas. Register online at www.unclov.org/2021retreat or to register by phone, contact Judy at (830) 328-3770 and be sure to have your place.

My message this time deals with one of the most basic problems of life – when we are faced with a situation that reveals our weakness, our “I am not enough, I cannot, I have not…” Paul said that he had learned a secret in which he could embrace the reality that Christ was his life and then embrace his weakness as the arena in which the strength of God would be perfectly manifested not only in a spiritual dimension but in our actual experience and feelings! Listen at least once– there is a tremendous spiritual truth here!

Again I celebrate you as you have given so consistently through these last months – your gifts enable us to penetrate the darkness with the light of the unconditional love of God.

You are blessed in Christ Jesus,
Malcolm and Cheryl

Malcolm Smith Founder of Unconditional Love Fellowship
“This retreat is a main event we look forward to year after year. To us it is similar to a family reunion of sorts. Many attend our zoom Sunday services as their church so we cherish the time with like minded believers. Friendships are formed and nurtured throughout our time together. Many who attend say they won’t and don’t miss it year after year. It is a time of bonding like we don’t experience at other events. We look forward to our time together in December, in Kerrville, Texas! May God richly bless you.”   -Malcolm Smith
