January 2015 – Partner Update
Dear Partners,
Through your gifts you and I together are loving people to life.
We bless you into this New Year with all blessings that are ours in Christ Jesus that you may be prosperous in both health and peace in your total person coming to experience all that the Father’s love has prepared for you. These are not empty words but the promise of the Gospel brought into our daily lives.
Thank you for your love gifts to the ministry over the Christmas and New Year. We faced tremendous challenges in the latter months of last year and were praying for a financial miracle that seemed to be on the same level as the parting of the Red Sea! Those who sent special and unusual gifts were the answer from the Father, you were our miracle! I thank you for your love that was in every gift and also for your obedience to the nudge of the Spirit. Face the fact that God does nothing on the earth except through us humans who are his children. To say that “God met our need” is only half of the story for he did it through you – I say again, he used you to be our miracle. Thanking him and thanking you! In saying this to those whose gifts took us into the realm of miracle we do not in any way diminish those who faithfully sent their regular offering that was part of all that happened in those days at the end of December.
This is a good time to welcome our new partners that have joined us in this New Year. You have become part of a family of believers that look upon giving not merely as a charitable contribution. Every dollar that you send is the love of God clothed in finances and wrapped in prayer – the gift of your life joined to the Holy Spirit and sent forth to world. You and I, along with every other partner do more together than either of us could do alone in our wildest dreams. In your monthly giving you are part of my voice carrying God’s love in Christ in the power of the Spirit to the world.
We enter 2015 with hearts filled with praise and ready for all that the Lord will do through you and I together in carrying this life transforming message to the world.
I do not believe that any of us can truly know what happens each week as the webinar goes out from Bandera, a tiny town in the hill country of Texas, to the entire planet. We have heard from a number of persons in the last days who have been part of a vast silent audience. They shared with us of total life change through the message of God’s-love and grace. You are (literally) part of the sending out of the river of life; without you it would not happen.
We are looking forward to Module three of our Bible school taking place at the end of January and a grand graduation of a class of students coming up at the end of next month. These are exciting times as the word of God is poured into open hearts. I would remind all graduates of any past class that you can come and audit any of these classes free of charge.
My December Retreat series “Love – the Spirit’s Power” is now available and is a 6 hour series for $48.00 plus $10.00 shipping for a total of $58.00. Andrew Colony and his wife Kisha have settled in and are an active part of the ministry. Kisha leads our worship on Sunday morning and Andrew, who has been raised listening to my CD’s since before he could talk is sharing the word of God from time to time. It is a great encouragement to have someone by my side sharing the load. If you are in the area of Bandera drop by and worship with us on Sunday at 11 a. m.
