Dear Partners,
Through your gifts you and I together are loving people to life.
My message to you this month is vital in your personal growth in the Lord and in your affecting the lives of others. It deals with your place in the bringing of the love of God into our home, work, and the situations that make up our lives. Multitudes read and give mental assent to the promises of God but never connect with the power that flows in the promise into our lives. I take the full hour to show how He works it out. Listen more than once until this gets into your spirit and daily life.
We are excited to be conducting Module Five of our Bible school the first weekend of March; we deal with the sufferings, death and resurrection and ascension of the Lord Jesus – a vital Module that brings together all that we have taught. Our entire faith hinges on what is taking place in that event! Pray for us that we shall speak such truths in the revelation of the Spirit as they ought to be spoken.
Many are excited as they are using the new DVD series “Fear Not!” This is different to our usual series in which I speak for an hour; in this series I present a truth that can then be either the food for your own meditation and basis for what the Spirit is saying to you or used in small groups to draw out discussion and sharing. In San Antonio it had the effect of drawing out seasoned believers to share and come to revelation that they testify would not have happened listening to me talk for an hour! It consists of one DVD and a study guide. This has taken so long to produce because we were learning the new format as we went through the production – our next one will be a lot faster. We are in process of producing the Bible School Modules online – that will enable those of you who cannot come to a live school in San Antonio to study exactly the same material as we study in the live classes. We anticipate students joining us from around the world. We do not have a finish date so please do not call the office – you will be the first to know when it will be ready. I announce it now because we need your prayers as we are engaged on a very large task.
As you might remember last year we experienced flooding at the ranch resulting in many trees being downed and other damage. We need a Bobcatto enable us to move and do all the repairs necessary and if the Spirit puts it on your heart donations would be appreciated to buy such a machine.

As I write this we are in the final preparation for the retreat. We are excited at the possibilities of our gathering together in Kerrville, TX. Be sure to order the CD’s that will be released soon. The subject will introduce you to a new dimension of living and praying that is life changing. One very exciting development in this retreat is that fifty percent of those coming have never been to one of our retreats or meetings before which means that will have some very hungry and ready to receive persons brought there by the Spirit to satisfy the cry of their hearts. You should know that your giving makes this retreat and all our outreaches possible therefore these people cry to the Lord was in part answered by your monthly giving! Your giving which makes it possible to broadcast this message in every way is the answer to someone’s prayer.

My message this month deals with the forgotten dynamic of praise and thanksgiving. The Bible is full of praising people – not just saying praise words but entering in to the culture of the Trinity and the unlimited love-power that flows from that. We spend a lot of time asking for things that we should be using to be engaged in praise. This message could open areas of your life that will be transforming to your walk in Christ.
We are rapidly approaching our retreat the second weekend of December at the Inn of the Hills in Kerrville, Texas. If you are still planning to come you only have a few days before the special rate at the hotel closes. You must have registered by November 15th to have the retreat rate on your room.
Every year we have people at the retreat that cannot pay but have a great need to be there. Each year these are sponsored by partners who cannot be there themselves but pay for another to go instead. If the Spirit urges you to be one of these sponsors call our office and let us know that you want to be the grace of God in another’s life by paying for them to be there. I want you to listen very carefully to my message this month asking the Holy Spirit to open the eyes of your heart. I expect that you do this every time you listen but what I am sharing this month is so basic yet so revolutionary I know that many of you could enter into the rest of God as you listen. I deal with walking in life in the perfect peace and rest of God that is ours in Christ. We have done this before but this time the emphasis is on the how of that, examining the way of trusting in Him. I am excited to share this with you.

September has been a month of many challenges for all of us. The hurricane was centered just over forty miles from us but the winds spun away from us to Houston. Our prayers have been with all those both in Houston and Florida that have been affected. What many do not realize is that in days of crisis – and so many in September – many persons who would normally donate to this ministry help the hurricane victims instead. September has been a challenging month financially and we ask you to be sensitive to the Spirit if you are led to give extra.

I am sharing a message with you this month that I believe will set your heart to give thanks and soar into worship. In this hour of sharing with you Partners I am plunging into the heart of God-love. Multitudes play on the shore of the vast ocean of His love with only a vague unfocussed idea of what that love means; when a crisis comes then their fragile belief in His love goes out of the window. “Faith works by love” – faith leaps into action at the realization of His limitless love toward us. I believe that this hour of teaching will bless you into new levels of knowing Him.
This is just a taste of what we will take the entire weekend to explore at the retreat in December and we will carry this knowing of our identity in the love of God to the question of prayer. If God loves us why do we need to pray? What is prayer – really? Is it trying to convince an unwilling God to give us something He would not give unless we nagged and whined to Him?! Of course not – but what is it? It is the wild adventure of discovering His love and joining with Him in applying that love to our lives and the lives of others. I am excited with the message I am sharing with you this month – on the blessing of God that is actively working in our lives every day and in all circumstances. Many of us have been brainwashed to believe that we are unworthy and live a life apart from that blessing. I pray that as you listen your ears and eyes will be opened to begin to live in unshakeable certainty that you are blessed and participating in that blessing everyday of your life.
