March/April 2013 – Partner Update
Dear Partners,
Please take note that this partner message covers the two months of March and April so that we can catch up. We got behind in the early months of the year and we need to be up to date.
In these months we are in the season when Christians remember the resurrection of the Lord Jesus from the dead. But believers do not limit the resurrection to a few days of the year – we live in the power and strength of the resurrection. Faith in the resurrection is where our salvation began and it is continually our confession of faith (Romans 10:9). Our salvation is not a list of rules, ethics or formulas but a now relationship with the living Christ who is our life. Many believers have never realized what this means in terms of their relationships, their work, their play or their education. In my message to you all this month I want to show you how we are in every moment of our lives governed by resurrection life that moves always forward into the new heaven and new earth. This is the hope that infuses all that we think, say and do. This message will have a radical effect on your life today. Listen and do it!
Our retreat is almost here and we are running out of space. If you intend to come we still have some room so call immediately. It is a very important retreat asking the question “How do we stand strong in these times in which we live?” As I write we have just heard the tragedy that took place at the Boston Marathon and again the question faces us – how do we live in a world that is increasingly evil? How do we live in days of trauma of floods and tornadoes that sweep away the possessions of a lifetime?
What is our heart attitude to this present darkness? How do we pray the bold prayer of faith in uncertain and unstable days? Do we prepare for days of disaster or take no thought for tomorrow? How do we live in the protection spoken of in Psalm 91? What do we do when human authority conflicts with the authority of God? What is our witness to our neighbor in unstable days? What is our responsibility to our children in this chaos? Above all, where is God in all of this?
It is a very practical retreat with answers from God’s Word.
The retreat will be at the ranch in Bandera May 17-18 and we are calling it “Standing Strong in Unstable Times”. We begin Friday night and continue through Saturday and of course you can stay over and join us Sunday at 3 p.m. for our regular meeting of Unconditional Love Fellowship. It is imperative that you register because seating is limited. Call the office today if you plan to come.
We are looking for hours of fellowship together and teaching that will not merely inform you but strengthen your faith and teach you how to live filled with the Spirit in fearful days.
The Bible school is graduating two classes this year and we give thanks to God for these who will have spent 120 hours with me learning the foundations of this faith in the God who is unconditional love. You can begin this journey by joining a new cycle with module one on June 13-15. Call the office for details.
We continue to give thanks to the Lord for your gifts that enable us to reach the multitude that join us around the world for the Tuesday night webinars from the ranch at 7 p.m. central time. These are watched through You Tube throughout the week. Thousands more are receiving the podcast and so the message pours out to multiple thousands each month. February 2013 – Partner Update
Dear Partners,
The questions that have continually been asked in the last months have focused on how we live in the joy and peace of the Lord in these troubled times that are already here and threatening to break upon us. My message this month addresses that in general terms although there is enough in it to bring great peace to all who hear it. In the time that we would fear as natural human beings we trust in Him who has overcome the world and conveys his victory to us through the Spirit.
All of us are aware that we face global unrest and disintegration of the family and society; for those who simply look at the news the only conclusion is that a cold darkness is creeping across the world. A generation has arisen that has no sense of the presence of God. Believers are asking how does one live in the face of evil? In other generations we have lived with Christian values and the expectancy of freedom and prosperity. But things have changed!
We are having a retreat that addresses this situation May 17-18 and we are addressing the subject “Standing Strong in Unstable Times”.
How do we believers look at world events and the situation that we find ourselves in, in our family, our work, school and neighborhood? Many of you have been in disasters from hurricane and tornado to local chaos – what do we believers do and how do we approach the possibility of such situations? Things are happening around us that in the past we only read about as taking place in far off lands and people. What we forget is that the Bible was written against the backdrop of unstable and chaotic times and so how we approach and act within them is the subject of thousands of passages of Scripture. Many of these have been overlooked because we have lived much of our life in relatively stable times. As times change we must learn the faith that walks boldly without fear or anxiety in the midst of evil and trouble.

Dear Partners,
First of all, I bless you all into this new year of 2013. May it be a year where your body is filled with health even as your spirit is joined and filled with the Holy Spirit!
This is the first communication since we changed our name and I thank you for remembering to give all of your donations to the new name – no one forgot and that is amazing!
My message this month deals with the peace of God that Jesus personally gives to us. May all of us live daily – hourly – in that peace in these troubled times. All of us are aware that we face global unrest and disintegration of society; for those who simply look at the news the only conclusion is that darkness is creeping across the world. But how do we believers look at world events and the events that are in our lives and neighborhood? November 2012 Partner Update
Partner Update
Dear Partners,
We greet you in the midst of this holiday season with the message of thanksgiving – the divine power of giving of thanks in everything! I trust that I have been able to communicate this power revealed in the words in the story of Jesus multiplying the five loaves and two fishes to feed a multitude of probably in excess of 15,000 persons. The heart of the story – the place and moment in which the miracle took place – is in Jesus taking the bread and fish and blessing it and giving thanks. Can you imagine how utterly foolish that looked? A handful of food that would not feed two people is being blessed and the Father is being thanked that this shall be supper for everyone! But that is the action of faith that the Scripture operates in. We take what we have even though it is absolutely not enough for the need and give thanks to Him who has given Himself to be the answer to our need and his blessing multiplies and fills what we have with divine life. May the message insert the thanksgiving of faith into these days!
As I announced last month we will be changing our name on January 1st 2013. As of that date we will no longer be known as Zoe Community of the Holy Spirit but as Unconditional Love Fellowship. Unconditional Love is not merely an event of history but is now poured into our hearts through the Spirit that we might live our lives in the knowing that we are His beloved and reaching out through our actions loving one another as we have been and experience His love.
We are amazed at the response to the Tuesday night webinars at 7 p.m. central time. We are able to record when someone is watching and we can report that every hour of the day or night multiple persons are watching somewhere in the world. Thousands more are receiving the podcast and so the message pours out to multiple thousands each month. Thank you for making this possible with your gifts.

What Is a ‘Partner’
As a ministry we have never been underwritten by a denomination or by government grants; we have always been and are supported by the gifts of those who share our vision of the love of God in Jesus Christ. These regular, committed supporters of the ministry are called Partners.
A partner believes the message that God is love and that God has achieved His love’s purpose for us in Jesus Christ. And all that He accomplished is actualized in our lives by the present work of the Holy Spirit. Some of our partners have only very recently discovered these truths and are new in the journey of discovering the implications and power of this in their daily lives, others have been friends of the ministry for decades. All partners share a common desire – to be part of sharing this life-changing message with the world. We believe that to teach believers who they are in Christ is to bring into being a company who will change the world.
The oxygen of this ministry is prayer. Our Partners stand in prayer with us for the continued empowerment of the ministry in all its expressions – and that the message of God’s love will continue to reach into the hearts of believers everywhere.
Our Partners make it possible for the ministry to run smoothly because we can count on their continued support each month. It is these many gifts that, joined together, enable the ministry to fulfill our calling month by month. Malcolm does not take a salary from the ministry and so all your gifts are used in the functioning of the ministry.
Partners commit to giving monthly donation of $30 (or more) and receive a Partner newsletter from Malcolm each month, along with a 1-hour message on CD* with ministry news and updates.
